Died In His Own Sin…
When does one receive an inheritance from our parents, our Mom and Dad? Would our Mom be responsible for delivering an inheritance to us in the absence of our Dad? What does an inheritance mean at this time in history?
For most of us, in the Western “developed” world, we think of an inheritance in terms of money, in rare occasions we think of it in terms of land, a farm or some other more meaningful, larger estate type inheritance. In the days of before Jesus Christ it was all about land, lots of land, and gold. Water on the land was a big deal as well. If you had land, water and gold you were set up. If you didn’t have these then you worked for, or were owned by, someone which possessed these items of wealth.
What about True inheritance? What about inheritance into the Kingdom of God? The only True wealth that a person could ever possess is eternal life through Jesus Christ and one could, in fact, pass along through their teachings to others, especially their children.

Should we go before God and ask for an inheritance? God, our Father, determines what inheritance we should receive. If we follow His will, give God all the praise, honor and glory love God with all our heart, all our mind and all our soul, and love our neighbors as ourself we should receive an inheritance. Right? It seems that Moses and Eleazar are laying the foundation for this understanding after the coming of the Messiah, Emmanuel, Jesus Christ.
Another’s sin is not our burden. Another’s sin needs to be discussed, needs to be addressed and believers should do their best to bring these persons before God to confess and repent of their sins. However, it seems that another’s sin could not, in any way, be assigned to a person that did not commit the sin.
Either the Scripture is the divine Word of God teaching us how to live and how to be a reflection of God, or it’s nothing more than a historical account of events.
